New Beginnings–Instant Inspiration

Today I’m getting brave–I finally decided to take the plunge and do something I’ve wanted to do but not wanted to do for a long time. I’m moving into the world of video.  As a long-time still photographer (yes, we owned a video camera once briefly, but when it died just after the warranty expired I took that as a sign from the photography gods and never replaced), video is a foreign world.  And to put my face in front of the camera, well, I’m sure a lot of you know just how I might feel about that.

But I did it. And I didn’t die. I’m sure I’ll get more comfortable and better as time goes by, but I did it. I hope my bravery (or foolishness-however you may view it) will inspire you to do something you’ve been putting off.

Today I’m starting a new video series called “Instant Inspirations.”  You’ll see them about once a week or so. I’ll be sharing some of my favorite inspirational quotes with you and why they’re my favorites.  Here’s today’s quote:

I’d love to hear your thoughts, either about the quote, or about the series–and if you have a favorite quote I should include, let me know in the comments below.

And if you found this helpful, please use the buttons below to tweet or share it with your network.
